16. Certificate of complete exemption by virtue of Advanced International Certificate of Education Examinations of University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate

1. The Committee of Principals shall issue a certificate of complete exemption to a person who, taking into account the provisions of paragraph 13.2 –

a. was awarded an Advanced International Certificate of Education by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate; and

b. included in the subjects passed towards the Advanced International Certificate of Education five full credit passmarks or alternatively four full credit passmarks and two half credit passmarks; and

c. satisfied the following subject requirements:

i. a full credit passmark in English; and
ii. a full credit passmark in a second language; and
iii. a full credit passmark in one of Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, History, Economics or Geography.

2. Symbols A, B, C and D will be regarded as passmarks for the purpose of this paragraph
