1st Qualification
High School Graduation Diploma accompanied by certificate of eligibility for admission to study at any US university with a valid senior college accreditation issued by any of the following accreditation bodies:
- Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)
- Distance Education and Training Council (DETC)
- Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)
- New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC-CIHE)
- North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA-HLC)
- North West Commission on College and Universities (NWCCU)
- Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
- Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC-ACSCU)
OR
High School Graduation Diploma with at least two subjects passed on grade 3, 4 or 5 for the Advanced Placement (AP) examinations of the American College Board
OR
General Education Diploma (GED) accompanied by letter of admission from an appropriately accredited US university or alternatively the required SAT score as indicated below
OR
Candidates unable to submit letters of eligibility to study for degree purposes at appropriately accredited US university must in addition to their high school diplomas/GED submit evidence of one of the following test score options:
- Prior to March 2005: SAT I score of 1050 with sub-minimum of 500 for either the verbal or mathematics scores obtain at one/more sitings;
- As from March 2005: SAT I score of 1600 with a sub-minimum of 550 for Critical Reading and 500 for Mathematics
- SAT II score of 1050 for English and one of Physics or Chemistry with sub-minimum of 500 for either the English or one of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology or World History scores obtained at one or more sittings
- As from May 2015 an overall SAT Score of 1130 is required with a sub-minimum of 610 for Evidence in Reading and Writing and 530 for Mathematics.
ACT mean of 22 with a 22 sub-minimum in English and 21 in Mathematics
